33KNG • FUNDRAISING & STUDIO POLICY

How funding works — artist projects now, studio build later.

This page explains how donations and fundraising can be used to (1) fund a worship project with a featured Christian artist + studio, and (2) accelerate the long-term goal: a world-class 33 Recording A/V Studio that will be free for Christians.

Important: This is a transparency and expectations document. It’s not legal advice. If you’re running a public fundraiser, you are responsible for complying with local laws and the platform’s rules.

1) What we’re building

33KNG exists to help worship creators produce Christ-exalting music and content with excellence—without paywalls. In the near term, we coordinate high-quality worship projects (including featured artists and studios). In the long term, we are building a dedicated A/V studio that will be available free for Christians.

2) Two funding paths

A) Fund via 33KNG (Phase 1)
Donations made through our official funding page can be used to support approved artist projects and/or studio build initiatives as described below.

B) Fundraise externally (GoFundMe / church / private)
Artists can raise funds publicly or privately, then allocate those funds toward an approved project. 33KNG can help scope the budget and manage the production path.

3) How an artist-funded project works

  1. Apply / Scope: You submit the song + vision. We confirm feasibility, timeline, and an estimated budget.
  2. Approval: We confirm the project structure (deliverables, roles, and funding plan).
  3. Artist & Studio Coordination: 33KNG contacts, books, and coordinates the featured artist and studio workflow.
  4. Production: Recording, edits, mixes, and masters are managed as defined in the scope.
  5. Delivery: Deliverables are provided (ex: final masters, stems when applicable, and agreed media outputs).

4) What 33KNG manages and what the artist owns

We manage
  • Project planning, coordination, scheduling, and production oversight
  • Communication with featured artists, studios, engineers, and collaborators
  • Quality control checkpoints aligned to the approved scope
You own / control
  • Your underlying song and creative direction (within the scope)
  • Release decisions and distribution strategy (unless otherwise agreed)
  • Any fundraising you run externally (and compliance responsibilities)

5) Use of funds

Funds may be used for the Studio Initiative and/or approved worship projects including (but not limited to): featured artist fees, studio time, engineering, mixing/mastering, session musicians, limited video capture/editing, and project coordination.

Bridge strategy: We can run artist projects now until we have sufficient funds to build the dedicated studio. Once built, our long-term commitment is to provide studio access and support free for Christians (subject to scheduling and guidelines).

6) Refunds, cancellations, and changes

  • Projects can be delayed due to availability (featured artists, studios, travel, health, etc.).
  • If a booked artist/studio cancels, we will attempt to reschedule or propose equivalent alternatives.
  • Refund handling depends on the funding channel and what costs have already been committed (deposits, booked time, etc.).
  • For externally raised funds, refunds (if any) are governed by the fundraising platform and the fundraiser organizer.

7) Transparency

We aim to be transparent with the approved scope, budget ranges, and milestones. For project-specific funding, we will provide a clear outline of what is being funded (and what is not) before commitments are made.
